Thermal Grease Test In recent months there has been a real glut of new thermal paste,if you believe the paste making all surpass each other in performance,processability,and the value for money.This test of 11 different thermal compounds I want to check which held promise of the manufacturers and which are not.

Test Conditions:

WLP is applied thinly.
Test done with closed housing
All fans run on 12V
20min Prime95 in-place large FFTs
Room temperature ~ 20 ° C
Cleaning the CPU with 70% isopropyl alcohol
Temperature is read after a "burn-in" period of 24 hours Prime95 Prime95 and the aforementioned time.

Innovation Cooling a very interesting alternative in the field of high-end thermal compounds is available,because the IC Diamond 7/24 Carat Thermal Compound utilizes the superior thermal conductivity of pure diamond advantage.
Each syringe contains Thermal Compound IC Diamond 7 or 24 carat ground,synthetic diamonds,which account for about 92% of the paste.This is a theoretical thermal conductivity 2000-2500 W / mK possible (pure silver has a conductivity of 406-429 W / mK).This extremely high conductivity makes IC Diamond 7 Carat thermal compound ideal for heat-intensive high-performance systems.

Diamonds are electrically non-conductive - this also applies to IC Diamond 7 Carat and 24: the paste is neither electrically conductive nor capacitive and also silicone.
Both pastes are the same of ingredients here,only the weight difference distinguishes (7 Carat 24 Carat)

Compared to its predecessor,the tried and tested Arctic Silver 3,the current version has been further optimized.The individual silver are now more finely and thus provide improved contact between CPU and cooler.The proportion of silver has a purity of 99.9% - the paste is silicone-free.Through a revision of the polysynthetic binder,heat transfer could be further improved.Moreover,it is not electrically conductive.
